MK Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz) told Reshet Bet this morning that he hoped the amendment to the Basic Law creating the position of Alternate Prime Minister would be overturned by the Supreme Court.
"When it's clear that Netanyahu is relating to the country's Basic Laws as if they were plasticine, trampling on the Knesset, it deprives the majority in the Knesset of the ability to act. It's like changing the rules of the game in the middle of playing, and we will not accept that. The Supreme Court was right to demand that the government explain its position," he added.
