MInister of Interior Aryeh Deri (Shas) suggested at a corona cabinet meeting today that the isolation period for those in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 be shortened to seven days.

"People are not cooperating in epidemiological tracking because they don't want to put their friends into isolation. I am convinced that if we shortened the isolation period, including tests before after, to seven days it would encourage cooperation of the public and would become a powerful tool for preventing a rise in the morbidity rate," Deri said.
