Israeli President Reuven Rivlin has launched a collaborative project between the President's Residence and the Mutual Guarantee Fund. The initiative is being led by Major Gen. (Res.) Gadi Eizenkot, and the CEO of the Matan - Investors in the Community Association, Ahuva Yanai, and the co-founder of the Pitango Funds and chairman of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation.
The Mutual Guarantee Fund was established by heads of companies and key figures in the Israeli economy and industry in cooperation with the Matan - Investors in the Community organization, and supports people and families who have been financially harmed as a result of the coronavirus epidemic, by locating victims and transferring financial assistance. The fund has so far raised about ten million shekels, and has helped thousands of families all over the country.
