The Attorney's Office for Tax and Economic has informed Zvi Gandelman, the mayor of Hadera, that his prosecution is being considered, pending his hearing.
Gandelman is suspected of offenses of fraud and breach of trust, receiving items via fraudulent means, obstruction of justice, and an offense under the Computers Law.
According to the prosecution's letter, the offenses were committed between October 2013 and June 2018, at a time when Gandelman also served as mayor and head of the Hadera local planning and construction committee.
