Health Ministry director-general Prof. Hezi Levy told Galei Tzahal today that he doesn't believe that night-time curfews will prove helpful in the country's battle against the coronavirus.
"Night-time curfews are not effective - all they will do is prevent things from happening that aren't happening anyway," he said. Indeed, given that hotels, restaurants, cafes, and virtually all cultural events are still prohibited, it is hard to see what a night-time curfew would accomplish.
