MK Yaakov Asher, head of the Knesset's Regulatory Committee, addressed the many delays in getting the "Green Islands" law passed as it relates to Eilat. The law would allow the hotels in Eilat to reopen, with tourists being screened for coronavirus prior to their arrival.
"I don't regret any delay, except for that of the Health Ministry, when it withdrew this law from consideration," he told Galei Tzahal this morning. "The government failed to utilize the time it had at its disposal to properly prepare this piece of legislation."
