The head of the Israeli Association of Public Health Physicians, Prof. Hagai Levine, told Radio 103 FM today that before imposing a nationwide night-time curfew, the government should test the plan locally.
"If they want to try out this option, they should do a pilot program, in just a few localities where infection rates are high," he said. "Then wait and see what happens, if it helps. What's important is to work together with the public, to have their cooperation. Countries who took that route have been far more successful. The government should stop trying to impose centralized control over its citizens."
