According to the Foreign Ministry's deputy director on strategic affairs, Yehoshua Zarka, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain are expected to form a joint front on the world stage in their attempt to have Hezbollah declared a terrorist organization by those countries who have yet to do so.
Zarka was interviewed by Yisrael Hayom, and noted that in recent months, many countries have changed their approach with regard to Hezbollah, coming to see it not simply as an organization that concerns itself with legitimate civilian and welfare issues (which it does too) but as primarily a terrorist organization. Now, with the expansion of ties between Israel and these two Gulf states, it is expected that the three countries will work together to persuade other heads of state to adopt this stance.
