Denmark has backtracked on a plan to kill its 17 million minks according to a report from CNN. Since June, Denmark has documented the infection of 200 people with a mutation of the coronavirus that they developed after contact with minks.

Three Israelis returning from Denmark are thought to have been infected with the mutant virus.

Over a million minks were killed this summer on farms in Denmark, Spain, and the Netherlands due to their being carriers of the mutant virus, which is thought to be more dangerous than the regular type.
