The son of a former prime minister of Lebanon has called for peace with Israel in an interview with the Axios news service.

Billionaire Bahaa Hariri, son of the late Rafik Hariri who was assassinated shortly after leaving office in 2005, spoke of his desire for peace as follows: "We have issues between us and the Israelis and we have to resolve them, but at the end of the day we need to have peace. I want my children to live in peace not war."

Meanwhile, Bahaa's brother Saad, who opposes peace with Israel, is trying to form a government in Lebanon.
