President Donald Trump's envoy Elliott Abrams, who visited Israel on Monday, said the United States would soon impose additional, pre-planned sanctions on Iran, Kan 11 News reported.

Abrams added that US foreign policy is "maximum pressure" on Iran and that it has nothing to do with the election. He estimated that "Biden will have a hard time re-entering the nuclear deal quickly. But no matter who the president is on January 20, there will be negotiations with Iran."
