Armenia and Azerbaijan reach ceasefire agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh region

Armenia and Azerbaijan on Monday night announced an agreement to halt fighting over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

The agreement, which was signed with Russia, calls for deployment of nearly 2,000 Russian peacekeepers and territorial concessions.
