A source in the Trump administration told Kan News: "We were elected for 4 years - we intend to use the time until the last minute. And we came to work. We have quite a few things to do with Israel and for Israel - and we will continue to act."
The remarks are made against the background of the visit of the special US envoy for Iranian affairs, Elliott Abrams, who met last night with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and is expected to meet today with other senior officials, including Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and Defense Minister Ganz. Foreign Minister Pompeo is also expected to arrive in Israel next week.
