A man in his sixties has died of malaria in the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
Galei Tzahal reports that the man contracted the disease in Africa and returned to Israel earlier this week. He was then hospitalized with a high fever and placed in the hospital's ICU, where his condition deteriorated still further until he passed away.
