At a visit to a face mask factory in Sderot, President Reuven Rivlin stated "you are protecting the entire nation."
Rivlin had earlier visited an army post on the Gaza border as well as a corona command center in Sderot.
Sderot (pop. 27,000) is a city close to the Gaza border that has absorbed more rocket attacks than any other population center in Israel.
