Former Transportation Minister MK Betzalel Smotrich revealed that the Eilat railway project is stuck for political reasons due to Egyptian opposition.
"The Chinese have agreed to invest and build this train, and the Egyptians are the ones who brought this story down politically. I very much hope I'm not revealing state secrets here," he said on Radio 103FM.
