The former mayor of a small town in Russia faced no opposition in the upcoming mayoral elections and turned to the woman who cleaned his office, asking her to run against him in a fictitious campaign.
Although the woman did not campaign in any way, she earned 62% of the town's votes due to the residents' dissatisfaction with the former mayor and so she became mayor of the town.
