    Lithuania’s center-right party leading in national election

    Lithuania’s main opposition party, the center-right Homeland Union, said on Sunday night it is on track to win the first round of a national election.

    With about 85% of votes counted, the party, which has roots in the 1980s anti-Soviet independence movement, was in the lead with 23.2%, according to Reuters.
