Germany is currently seeing a surge in coronavirus cases, with over 10,000 new diagnoses being made each day for most of this week.
In the last 24 hours, 11,242 tests came back positive, and 49 people died.
So far, 403,291 people have contracted the coronavirus in Germany, and 9,954 people have died of related complications.
