The Ministry of Health reported that yesterday, (Tuesday, Oct 20) 1,171 new coronavirus infections were recorded out of a total of 42,518 tests performed.
There are currently 596 patients in critical condition, with 232 on respirators.
The death toll in the country now stands at 2,291 individuals.
