Deputy Health Minister Yoav Kish condemned Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky's directive to open Talmud Torahs today, saying: "I take very seriously any move or call to violate guidelines and restrictions.
"The call to open Talmud Torahs is forbidden and endangers public health, as are the calls to violate the closure, violations in demonstrations, and calls by commercial companies for civil uprising and opening shops. We must enforce very seriously against these violations - for the health of us all."
