Writing on Twitter this morning, opposition head MK Yair Lapid praised Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi for his support of the establishment of a commission of inquiry into the Submarine Affair, and expressed his pleasure that Benny Gantz, head of the Blue & White party, apparently also supports such a move.
"I welcome this statement from Gabi Ashkenazi, describing how Defense Minister Benny Gantz is advancing plans to establish a commission of inquiry into the Submarine Affair," he wrote. "The security of the State of Israel should be above politics. The time has come to take action and not content ourselves with mere talk."
