The Ministry of Health reported that 2,285 Israelis tested positive for CV-19 over the past day from a total of 45,151 tests performed.
The number of patients in critical condition fell to 755, with 241 of them on ventilators.
The COVID-19 death toll continues to rise, however, currently standing at 2,098 since the outset of the crisis.
