More than four million people joined in prayers from their homes during the Tishrei High Holidays, and more than 10,000 participated in virtual tours of the Western Wall tunnels.
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation undertook during the closure to hold 3 live prayers every day and say Kaddish for all those who are unable to physically join a prayer quorum. Every day, dozens of names are sent for Kaddish that are said daily during the prayers broadcast live on the Western Wall website and on a designated telephone line.
