Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Rafi Peretz has issued a call to "dedicate Simchat Torah prayers to the speedy recovery of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky." The rabbi is in serious condition after becoming infected with the coronavirus.
Rabbi Kanievsky is a Bnei Brak resident who is considered by many to be the greatest Torah sage in the world today.
