According to a Ministry of Health report, an additional 2,907 cases of the coronavirus have been diagnosed since midnight last night after 26,343 virus tests were conducted.
The number of active patients in Israel now stands at 66,198 with 883 in critical condition. 223 additional patients are on ventilators.
10 more Israelis succumbed to the virus over the past day and the death toll in the country currently stands at 1,749.
