Speaking earlier today, Prof. Ronni Gamzu, the government's coronavirus project manager, said that around 40% of new virus cases are from the haredi community.
"The 9,000 new cases from yesterday's testing don't surprise me," he said, "as it follows Yom Kippur - the number is really a reflection of last Friday, Shabbat, Sunday, and Monday, and I expect tomorrow's figures to be similar."
