According to data supplied by the Health Ministry, 7,188 of the country's active virus cases are in the Jerusalem area out of a total of 64,608 active cases.
4,052 are from Bnei Brak; 2,946 are from Ashdod; 2,184 are from Tel Aviv; 1,116 are from Beit Shemesh; 1,059 are from Beitar Illit; and 1,001 are from Ashkelon.
