Former Pres. of Supreme Court warns: Plague of violence against women

Former President of the Supreme Court Dorit Beinisch has declared that "we are ignoring the severity of a plague of violence that has broken out because of the lockdown. There is a fear that this violence, especially against women, will increase."

Beinisch's remarks came against the backdrop of a resident of the Negev Desert town of Mitzpeh Ramon being charged with attempted murder of his wife prior to Rosh Hashanah.
