The Ministry of Health reported that a rabies-infected jackal was found in the Banias Reserve in the Upper Galilee.
The ministry asks anyone who has been in contact or whose animals came into contact in the area of the incident with the infected animal or a stray animal, between the dates of 21/8/20 to 4/9/20 inclusive, to contact the Tzfat Health Bureau urgently, phone 04-6994257, 04 -6994200, or the health bureau nearest to his place of residence, in order to weigh the need for preventive care.
