Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit told the Arabic-language Sky News in an interview that the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain peace agreements with Israel are the only way to stop "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's annexation aspirations."
"If the agreements had not been implemented, Netanyahu would have waited for the results of the US election. If President Trump had won, the next day Israel would have begun annexing territories in the West Bank," Aboul Gheit claimed.
