Air pollution decrease recorded in June, July, and August

A large decrease in air pollution in Israel was recorded in June, July, and August. This, according to air quality data published for the first time this morning on Kan News.

At most air monitoring stations the average concentrations for the summer period in these three months in 2020 were low relative to the average in 2015-2019. The monitoring stations, located in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Rishon Lezion, Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, and Haifa, monitored for nitrogen dioxide.
