The mayor of Ashdod Dr. Yehiel Lasry has entered isolation after coming in contact with an administrator of his city's corona task force who tested positive for COVID-19.
Ashdod is a coastal city between Tel Aviv and Ashkelon with a population of 220,000. It is Israel's largest port with 60% of imported goods docking there.
