After the Islamic Waqf announced it was closing off the al-Asqa mosque to worshippers, the organization went back on its word and said it was leaving the building open for the upcoming weeks.
The Waqf stated its decision came following Israel's decision to allow Jewish pilgrims to continue ascending to the Temple Mt.
