A close aide from Netanyahu's inner circle denied claims by Meretz chairman Nitzan Horwitz that Israel had agreed to freeze settlement construction in return for the peace agreement with the UAE.
"Horowitz's sources are even less reliable than the ones he had as a journalist," he stated.
