Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz (Likud) has stated his support for the government's three-week lockdown, calling it a "brave decision."
"This was a brave and responsible decision to make," he said. "I have been arguing for months that we need a nationwide lockdown, and I am gratified that Health Ministry experts and doctors have finally come around to my way of thinking. This is the only way to bring down the rate of infection," he asserted.
