Chief Executive Officer of Pfizer Inc., Albert Bourla, told CBS today that it's "likely" that the United States will have a vaccine for coronavirus ready by the end of the year.
He added that he was confident that any vaccine produced and mass-marketed would be safe for citizens to take, and added that going forward depended on the FDA.
“I cannot say what the FDA will do,” he said. “But I think having a vaccine ready by year's end is a likely scenario, and we are preparing for it.”
