After more than a week of heavy sharav heat wave conditions and unusually heavy heat stress, a gradual decrease in temperatures is expected in coming days.

Today will see a drop in temperatures that will continue to be higher than normal for the season, but the heat stress will be light in most parts of the country.

Tomorrow the weather will be similar.

On Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a slight rise in temperatures in the mountains and inland, where it will be warmer than usual for the season.

Maximum temperatures today are relatively low compared to recent weeks. Jerusalem is expected to be up to 30 degrees, Tel Aviv 31, Haifa 28 and Be'er Sheva 34.

In Eilat, 40 degrees by noon, in Ein Gedi 37, Mitzpe Ramon 30, Ashdod 31, Beit She'an 37, Tiberias 36, Tzfat 28, and in Katzrin it will be up to 34 degrees.
