The government will convene today to approve a two-week closure starting Friday, Rosh Hashana Eve, at 6 p.m.

Exit from one's place of residence will be limited to 500 meters, and shops and places of entertainment will be closed, except for "essential services".

According to the proposed resolution, public prayers on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur will allow up to 20 worshipers in an open area, and in a closed building it will be possible to pray in groups of ten depending on the size of the building and the number of entrances.
