4,038 new coronavirus diagnoses have been reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 146,542 confirmed cases since the outbreak of the epidemic.
There are now 489 people in serious condition in the country's hospitals, of whom 134 are on ventilators.
The death toll has risen to 1,077.
