Sources within the political establishment are claiming that PM Netanyahu is trying to have an independent inquiry established to question members of the prosecution in his trial as a way of stalling the evidence stage of proceedings against him.
According to a Channel 12 report, Netanyahu wants to push off the trial until allegations against the investigator in the case come to light.
