The Knesset plenum rejected the bill that was intended to prohibit anyone charged with a crime from being a candidate for president. 30 MKs voted in favor of the proposal and 37 MKs voted against it.
Most of the Blue and White faction were absent except for Omar Yankelevich, Eitan Ginzburg, and Hila Shai Vazan, who voted against.
