The opening to the Second Temple period area on the Temple Mount was sealed in concrete by the Muslim Waqf.
Serugim Political Commentator Avraham Bloch wrote: "The Israeli government can sleep soundly tonight. Archaeologists will not enter the cave, and no finds will be found that will prove the Jewish connection to the holiest place in the world."
