The Etihad Airways airline carrier, the second largest carrier to operate out of the United Arab Emirates, has opened an official representative office in Israel.
Another Emirati airline, the official "Emirates" company, is also expected to open an office in Israel in the near future.
Both carriers are likely to begin running routes out of Tel Aviv within the next few months.
