The heads of the Knesset's Land of Israel caucus, MKs Haim Katz and Betzalel Smotrich, have called on Prime Minister Netanyahu to regulate all the newer settlements that are still referred to as "outposts."
"Without taking this step in the very near future, the Prime Minister's promise [to apply sovereignty to Judea and Samaria] will not be actualized," the leaders stated, adding that, "we have seen from the Trump plan that any settlement that is not regulated is liable to find itself outside the sovereign borders of the state, and this is unacceptable - the government must rectify this situation."
"We congratulate the Prime Minister on his promise to take action to regulate the status of Mitzpe Kramim," they added, "but at the same time he must also act to regulate dozens of other communities that are not currently being threatened by the judiciary but nonetheless face a political threat, due to the government's foot-dragging," Smotrich and Katz noted.
