The Governor of the Bank of Israel has accepted the recommendation of the Justice Minister, Avi Nissenkorn, and has appointed the former president of the Jerusalem District Court, David Cheshin, as chairman of the committee for senior banking appointments.
Cheshin will assume his new position on September 1.
