An indictment was filed Sunday morning at the Haifa District Court against Ahmad Khatib, 26.
Khatib, a resident of the Arab town of Ilut, is charged with raping and sodomizing a blind elderly woman (81) in Haifa.
The prosecutors have requested to extend Khatib's arrest until the completion of legal proceedings against him.
