The Coronavirus Cabinet will on Sunday be asked to approve the "traffic light plan" for the third time.

The plan is scheduled to go into effect on September 1.

Coronavirus czar Professor Ronni Gamzu has recommended that school not begin on September 1 in "red" cities. The issue of whether there should be tighter restrictions over the holidays is not expected to be raised at this point either by Gamzu or by the Health Ministry, but the National Security Council may raise the issue.
