MK Moshe Arbel (Shas) came out against the haredi parties' policy of opposing requiring haredi schools to teach the core curriculum.
In an interview with Israel Hayom, Arbel said: "Certainly I support the core curriculum in haredi schools. My children learn the core curriculum until grade eight. My aspiration is that from grade nine, they will learn Jewish studies so that they learn how to learn. My daughter studied and tested and have full matriculation certificates."
