Russia has said that it will not be conducting an investigation into the suspected poisoning of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, as no evidence of poisoning has been discovered.
The Guardian quotes Russian President Vladimir Putin's press spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, who said: "In this case, nothing has changed. We still, unfortunately, do not have an understanding of what caused the condition the patient is in now."
Navalny is still in a coma in a German hospital; he is expected to survive, but doctors say they do not know what the long-term consequences of whatever caused his collapse will be.
